Hello. I am having issues trying to open Windows security. It gets stuck on a black screen and I can't access the settings. I have tried the reset and repair options and that was no use. I even checked for updates and nothing. I even tried restarting my laptop and that didn't work either. I also ran the sfc /scannow command and once again, nothing.

Black screen after windows 11 update I updated to windows 11 and afterwards my screen would go black after getting past the bios. After trying multiple things like ctrl+windows+shift+b, crtl+l, and trying to interrupt the windows boot 3x to get into safe mode i was finally able to make it into windows by disconnecting my gpu and plugging directly into my motherboard.

Hardware configuration: CPU: intel12700K. GPU; NVIDIA quadro RTX 4000. Monitor: HP M27fwa. OS: Windows 10. So my issue is that whenever I am browsing videos (youtube, WSL, Netflix, etc) I get a black screen for a moment (less than 1sec) almost everytime I load a video, maximize or minimize the browser window where I am watching the video, close the window, etc.

I have been experiencing a strange black screen after I login in Windows 10. It started yesterday morning. Symptoms: Laptop boots normally. I get to the login screen normally. I type the pin and I get the Welcome message. Instead of going to my desktop, I get a black screen with the cursor visible. And now it gets really weird.

I understand that you receive Black screen after login in Windows 11 insider build. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue. I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article Troubleshoot black screen or blank screen errors and see if that helps. Note: The above article in for Windows 10 but holds good for Windows 11.

In your description, I understand that after updating to 24H2, you had a black screen on your monitor screen. I noticed that you tried using a USB drive for recovery and also tried using the BIOS, thank you for the effort you put into resolving this issue, I understand the frustration of not being able to display the monitor at the moment.

This morning I opened the screen and I see only a black screen, with the mouse cursor that can move. Only a few keyboard shortcuts work (e.g. WIN+P), but others like CTRL+ALT+DEL don't work. I tried rebooting the system several times.
